The HACCP course comprises of 12 modules and takes 8 – 10 hours to complete. We recommend to take a maximum of 2 modules per day.

Legal Requirements:
This HACCP training course meets the legislation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs.

Who is it for: 
If you have a food business, or work in the food industry, you are legally required to undertake food safety training and/or be supervised in line with the level of activity you are involved in. So, for example, managers will need different training to those serving food.


HACCP Food Safety Level 2 Online Course:

This course is part of the mandatory food safety training regime for food handlers in Ireland and should be taken by all food handlers within six months after starting employment. HACCP, or the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point system, is a process control system that identifies where hazards might occur in the food production process and puts into place stringent actions to take to prevent the hazards from occurring. By strictly monitoring and controlling each step of the process, there is less chance for hazards to occur.

HACCP Food Safety Level 2 Certificate Exam:

On completion of all modules you will be presented with a certification test. You must achieve a pass mark of 60% from 60 questions in order to gain certification. The 60 questions are taken randomly from a bank of 200 questions for each and every examination.
